Positioned on a 2,500 m² site, the development has been designed as a welcoming, functional and engaging early-learning environment that responds to the needs of children, families, educators and staff.

The architectural design incorporates approximately 799 m² of internal floor area arranged around a series of purpose-designed activity and learning rooms. These spaces are supported by covered verandas and direct connections to the outdoor play areas, allowing children to move easily between indoor and outdoor environments while maintaining weather protection and passive supervision. The building layout has been planned to provide clear circulation, efficient staff oversight, age-appropriate learning environments and a strong connection to landscaped external areas.

The centre includes contemporary activity rooms, children’s amenities, sleep and quiet areas, administration spaces, staff facilities, kitchen and service areas, storage and circulation zones. The internal planning is supported by durable, low-maintenance finishes and a practical material palette suited to a high-use childcare environment. Large windows and glazed openings provide natural light, visibility and visual connection to the outdoor playscapes, while covered outdoor areas offer shaded spaces for play, gathering and transition between rooms.

The building design also incorporates accessible ramps, compliant pathways, child-friendly entries and carefully considered thresholds between internal and external spaces. The architectural arrangement supports a secure and legible arrival experience, with the main entry, administration areas and circulation routes positioned to assist with supervision, access control and daily operations. The overall form and detailing have been developed to create a contemporary yet approachable building that is visually appropriate for a child care setting and responsive to the surrounding residential context.
